Poppy Pillow | Handmade from Recycled Wool

There's something about all those different shades of red that I just love!

Each poppy pillow is handmade from recycled wool sweaters and blankets. Every poppy is cut from a different red sweater, so you'll see variations in colour and texture, from bright reds to deeper burgundy shades.

The poppies are individually sewn onto the grey wool background, with decorative circular stitching that adds texture and character to each flower.

Although the background fabric stays the same, the colours and placement of the poppies change depending on the sweaters I'm working with. No two pillows are exactly alike.

These pillows aren't just for decoration. They're made to be used and enjoyed! Wool is naturally resistant to dirt and moisture, so it doesn't need frequent cleaning.
